HIGH POINT, N.C. – Following a competitive showing at the Southern Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, The Citadel track & field team closed out the program's outdoor season Sunday at the High Point Last Chance Qualifier.

Jack Weil recorded a personal-best throw of 60.12 meters in the javelin to place sixth, marking his first-ever throw beyond the 60-meter mark. Arthur Parham followed in seventh with a 59.47-meter toss.

Jack O'Cain also competed for the Bulldogs in the pole vault, clearing 4.76 meters (15-7.25) to finish 14th.

"It was a solid season for all three," head coach Kris Kut said. "It may not have ended the way they wanted, but it will serve as motivation to keep moving forward and continue building a culture defined by excellence."
