"We played well late in the match, in the 20s of every set," Zelenock said. "I felt like we did a nice job of controlling the game, playing clean, playing team ball, and following directions well from 20 on, which was something we've been missing for a while."
Zelenock added that reaching the 100-win milestone was even more meaningful because of the group that endured last season together.
"I told the team in the locker room that it probably would have just been another day if not for everything we went through together last year. Having to wait that long made it even more meaningful, especially with the group that went through all of it together. It was special to finally get that 100th win with them."
