Holmes Shines in Professional Return to Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Former The Citadel ace Will Holmes returned to familiar territory Sunday afternoon, making his Charleston professional debut for the Augusta GreenJackets at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park.

Holmes, who signed with the Atlanta Braves as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 season, tossed three scoreless innings against the Charleston RiverDogs, allowing two hits while striking out four in Augusta's 3-2 victory.
