SOPHOMORE (2013): Finished fifth and earned a career-best time at the 2013 University Carolina’s Cup in the 3000 with a mark of 9:03.53 … placed third at the USC Gamecock Open in the 5000 with a time of 15:52.24.
FRESHMAN (2012): Posted a rookie record time of 10:45.53 in the distance medley relay at the Tiger Paw Invitational … recorded a mile time of 4:43.49 at the Kent Taylor Invitational … posted a 3,000 time of 9:04 at the Shamrock Invitational … finished in third place at the Palmetto Classic with a 3,000 time of 9:17 … recorded a 5,000 time of 16:09 at the Weems Baskin Relays to capture ninth place … nabbed fourth place at the Carolina’s Cup in the 3,000 with a time of 9:06.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Ridgeview High School in Columbia, S.C. … earned four letters in cross country and track … a member of the cross country team that earned four consecutive regional championships and were runner-up in states twice.
PERSONAL: Son of Brett and Katie Lantz … majoring in computer science … also a member of the Bulldog cross country team.
