SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Finished the season with 208 points, 48 assists and 65 three-pointers … Played in all 33 games, averaging 17.0 minutes per game … With just 25 turnovers in two seasons, ranks third all-time at The Citadel in fewest turnovers in a career … His 181 threes attempted in 2016-17 ranked in the top-300 in the NCAA.
FRESHMAN (2015-16): Served as a sharpshooter off the bench in his first season as a Bulldog, averaging 4.7 points in 9.9 minutes per game while posting 23 total rebounds, 19 total assists and 16 total steals … Saw action in 31 of 32 games as a freshman … One of just five Bulldogs on the squad to make at least 40 three-pointers during the season … His 41 three-pointers rank ninth on the program’s all-time list for threes made in a single season by a freshman … Only committed nine turnovers on the season which is the 14th-fewest of any player in The Citadel history in a single campaign (min. 20 games played) … Made at least one trey in 20 games, and sunk at least two three-pointers in each of the last five games of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner at Chapelgate Christian Academy ... In his last two years, he led Howard County in 3-point field goals (146) and along the way captured MVP honors at the Maryland Christian School Tournament … Ended his career shooting 34 percent from 3-point range and 37 percent from the field … For his prep career, Frierson averaged 16.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.0 steals per game … As a senior (2014-15), he averaged 23.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game in 30 games played … As a junior (2013-14), he averaged 15.8 points, 4.4. rebounds and 2.0 assists per game ... Frierson’s Chapelgate Christian Academy squad captured the Maryland Christian School Tournament Championship in 2014, after finishing as runner-ups the previous season.
