2007: Had an outstanding summer performance with the Thomasville Hi-Toms of the Coastal Plains League... will again be the starting first baseman for the Bulldogs and will continue to hit in the middle of the lineup... could also be called upon on the mound as either a starter or mid-relief.
2006: Started 53 games at first base while starting seven contests on the mound... set personal season highs in runs (37), hits (58), doubles (16), RBI (48) and total bases (82)... tallied a career best four RBI against Butler (3/12) and knocked in three runs on six separate occasions... smacked a double in three consecutive games three times... third best on the team in two-baggers with 16, which ties him for eighth place on The Citadel’s single-season doubles chart... enjoyed a career-long nine game hitting streak (5/7-5/26)... had five three-hit performances, while scoring a career high three runs in three different contests... made three mid-week starts against nationally ranked opponents: No. 19 N.C. State (3/8), No. 26 Winthrop (3/29) and No.13 South Carolina (4/19)... earned a win over LeMoyne (3/1) as he pitched a career long seven innings and struck out a career best four batters... spent his second consecutive summer with the Thomasville Hi-Toms and was again named to the all-star squad... tabbed sixth best prospect in the Coastal Plains League by Baseball America.
2005: Played in 56 games, starting 49 of those contests... started 21 games in leftfield with the other 28 coming as the designated hitter... ended the season with a career high .298 batting average, tallying 54 hits in 181 plate appearances... also drove in a career high 23 runs, while scoring 24 runs himself... hit his third career home run (2/25) against NC State, and also doubled 10 times on the season, a new career high... ended the year with 16 multi-hit games, getting three hits in four of those games... also saw action on the mound coming out of the bullpen five times for a total of 3.2 innings of work... recorded three strike outs... played for the Thomasville Hi-Toms of the Coastal Plain League where he was selected to the All-Star Game.
2004: Played in 25 games at four different positions ... saw action as a reserve first baseman, the designated hitter, a reserve outfielder and as a pitcher ... appeared in 20 games on the mound, earning the starting nod against Charleston on 4/7 ... earned wins over West Virginia on 2/21 and against Elon on 3/12 ... did not allow an earned run in 12 of 20 appearances for an ERA of 5.31 ... allowed 23 earned runs in 39 innings of work, while fanning 23 and walking 16 ... longest outing of the season was 4.1 innings versus West Virginia and Coastal Carolina ... struck out a personal best three batters four different times ... had best offensive day against Western Carolina on 3/21 as he connected for two runs and two RBI on three hits, all career bests ... had two multi-RBI games, one versus Western Carolina and the other against Wofford on 3/27 ... connected for two multi-hit games and scored multiple runs on three occasions ... blasted two home runs, one versus Western Carolina on 3/21 and one on 3/27 against Wofford ... played summer ball in a local Legion baseball league.
High School: Was a member of two conference championship teams and the 2003 Upper State Runners-up at Berea High School ... named the South Carolina Senior Player of the Year in 2003 ... honored as all-state three times and all-conference four times ... was voted as Berea's Team MVP three times ... led the state in homers as a senior with 13 round-trippers ... tallied 500 strikeouts in his prep career.
