2006: Had the most productive fall of all the pitchers... working extremely hard to improve his strike percentage on all three of his pitches... is a veteran performer as he will be seeing time in the starting rotation for the fourth straight year... coaches are expecting an exciting senior campaign from him.
2005: Appeared in 14 games, getting the start 11 times... finished the year with a 1-5 record, with the lone win being a complete game against Wofford (4/3)... threw 67 innings, striking out 47 batters... surrendered 45 earned runs for a season ERA of 6.04... the complete game against Wofford was the third of his career... tallied a season high six strikeouts in the Wofford game... fanned five in four other contests, including his seven inning outing in relief against the College of Charleston in the Southern Conference Tournament, arguably his best outing of the year.
2004: Finished the season with an 8-3 record after appearing in 17 games, 16 of which were as the starting pitcher ... gave up only 49 earned runs in 100.0 innings of work for a season-long earned run average of 4.41 ... struck out 96 batters, which was second highest on the team and third best in the Southern Conference, while walking only 39 ... won five straight starts over Chicago State, Elon, Western Carolina, Wofford and Appalachian State ... picked up two wins against Davidson, one regular season victory and one during the Southern Conference Tournament, and one versus UNC Greensboro ... pitched first career complete game in the SoCon Tournament on 5/27 versus Davidson ... struck out a personal-high 10 twice, once on 3/13 against Elon and again on 4/3 versus Appalachian State ... fanned nine Chicago State batters, while striking out eight three times ... started and pitched five innings versus South Carolina during the NCAA Regionals ... played for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Code Summer Collegiate Baseball League.
2003: Started 11 games on the mound and saw action in five games as a relief pitcher ... posted a team high six wins and 73 strike outs ... in 72.1 innings of work he compiled a 3.61 earned run average ... led the team in strike outs per nine innings with 9.1 ... struck out 10 against the College of Charleston on 3/29, which was tied for best on the team and established a personal best ... got first career start against North Carolina A&T on 3/4 five days after earning his first career win versus Miami on 2/28 ... threw 3.1 innings against the Hurricanes, striking out four ... was honored as SoCon Pitcher of the Week for his performance against the Hurricanes ... set a then career-high in innings pitched with 8.0 innings of work on 3/29 against CofC ... also batted .250 with one hit in four at-bats ... drove-in two runs on a two-out triple against Coastal Carolina on 4/4 ... played along side his twin brother, Mark, on the Florence Redwolves of the Coastal Plain League.
High School: Was a four-year letter winner at Wilson High School ... was named to the all-regional team twice and was voted best pitcher in 2002 by his high school teammates ... was a member of the American Legion State runner-up team in 2001 and led his high school squad to the region championship.
