The Citadel Athletics

A two-year member of the Lipscomb basketball team, after redshirting his freshman season. This past year, Davidson appeared in 14 games for the Bisons averaging seven-plus minutes per game. He played 12+ minutes in five of those games, playing a season-high 19 versus North Alabama on 3/5/24.

Coach Conroy on Davidson:

“Paxton comes to us from a close friend in Lipscomb Head Coach Lennie Acuff, where he was a valuable piece as a redshirt freshman. Paxton can play multiple positions in the backcourt and has a great understanding of the game and an all-around skill set.”

“He is really a solid defender with the size and instincts to make a difference on that side of the ball. I believe his best basketball is ahead of him and he will quickly endear himself to Bulldog fans with his tenacious style of play.”

• District champions in 2021 & 2022, Region champs in 2021 and 2020 State finalist

• Great aunt, Pam Chambers-Compton, is a Tennessee Tech women’s basketball alum. She is one of seven retired jerseys in the women’s program and in 1988 was selected in the All-Time All-OVC team
