Biography

SCOUTING REPORT: Mr. Versatility. Austin has put together a fine preseason and has shown the coaches he is capable of doing just about everything we ask of him. Austin is an excellent shooter and has shown the mentality to take over the game with his scoring. He has done a great job of going to the offensive glass on a consistent basis. Most important he has a great attitude and is a leader both on-and-off the court.

JUNIOR (2009-10): Started in 24-of-32 games during the season ... opened  season by starting the first nine games, before coming off the bench for a one month stretch ... started in the final 15 contests of the season, all coming against Southern Conference competition, reaching double figures in seven of those games ... converted four or more 3-pointers on four different occasions during the final 15 games of the season ... on the road at Elon, Dahn scored 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc ... tied a season-high 17 points on 5-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc against UNC Greensboro (2/20) ... averaged 7.6 points per game in 18 SoCon games ... managed 34-of-91 shooting from 3-point range against conference opposition ... climbed to seventh on the all-time 3-point list in school history with 182 career treys.

SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Earned a starting nod in 28-of-33 games played ... season-high in rebounds, seven, came in the home opener against Grace Bible College (11/14) ... reached double figures in points on nine occasions, including a season-high 17 at No. 19 Michigan State (12/17) ... notched back-to-back double-digit scoring performances on four occasions, the last coming against SoCon opposition Western Carolina (10 pts., 2/7) and Appalachian State (11 pts., 2/12) ... one of six players on the roster to appear in all 33 contests ... connected on 32.7% (52-159) of his shots from 3-point range, finishing second on the team behind Urbanus ... his 74 made field goals placed him fourth on the team.

FRESHMAN (2007-08): Made a huge impact in his freshman year ... named to the SoCon Coaches All-Freshman Team ... started in all 30 of the 30 games played ... played 955 minutes, averaging 31.8 minutes per game ... finished sixth in the conference in minutes played in conference games and ninth in the conference in overall minutes played ... was second on the team in free throw percentage, shooting .773 percent from the line ... shot .742 percent from the foul line in conference play ... finished second on the team in points, scoring 361 points, averaging 12.0 points per game ... averaged 13.0 points per game in SoCon play ... recorded double-digit scoring in 22 of 30 games on the season ... recorded a season-high four assists against Daniel Webster (11/9) ... finished 16th in the conference in overall scoring and 13th in conference play ... shot .382 percent from the field and .397 percent from the 3-point line ...shot .398 percent from the field and .420 percent from the 3-point line in conference play ... ranked 64th in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage and 81st in the nation in three-point field goals per game ... recorded the most 3-pointers ever made in a season by a freshman at The Citadel with 79 ... recorded a season-high eight rebounds against Penn (11/20) ... ranks fourth all-time in school history in 3-pointers made  in a season (79) ... finished 13th in the conference in overall 3-point field goal percentage and ninth in conference play ... ranked second in school history in most 3-pointers made in a game with eight against Chattanooga (2/16) ... led all SoCon freshmen in 3-point field goals made with 79 ... placed third in the conference in 3-point field goals made in conference play and fifth in overall 3-point field goals made ... finished as the leading scorer in nine games ... scored in 28 games ... scored a career-high 26 points against Chattanooga (2/16).
