Greg Loeser is in his second season working with The Citadel men’s basketball program as a certified athletic trainer. He is responsible for the prevention and rehabilitation of athletic-related injuries and illnesses for the Bulldogs, and provides secondary coverage for cadet training and rehabilitation.
Loeser came to The Citadel after a year (2016-17) at Western Carolina where he worked with the men’s basketball, football and women’s tennis teams. He also served as the first responder for various sports camps.
Prior to working in Cullowhee, North Carolina, Loeser interned for a semester at Eastern Mennonite University (Fall 2015), working with the men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, softball baseball, track and field, and cross country programs.
A native of Ocean, New Jersey, Loeser is a 2016 graduate of James Madison University where he earned a bachelor of science in athletic training. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association as well as the Athletic Trainer’s Society of New Jersey.
