SCOUTING REPORT: Dan has a lot of respect from his teammates. He works hard and is not afraid to mix it up inside the paint. Dan has a really nice touch for a big man and his experience over the past few years will serve him well as the season progresses.
JUNIOR (2009-10): Athletic wing player who came off the bench to appear in 20 contests ... began a four-game streak in which he notched at least one point, beginning with a four-point showing at Savannah State (1/2) ... followed with a five-point, two-rebound outing at Appalachian State (1/6) ... netted a season-high six points in 20 minutes at McAlister Field House against College of Charleston (1/9) ... the streak was halted with a one point showing at Chattanooga (1/14) ... logged 160 minutes (8.0 per contest), including a season-high 27 against Southern Conference rival Chattanooga (1/14)Â ... also grabbed a season-high five rebounds, two on the offensive glass, against the Mocs.
SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Started in 10 games throughout the season, including a streak of eight straight contests ... converted 3-of-8 field goals, hitting 3-for-7 from 3-point range, en route to a 13-point, five rebound performance against Grace Bible College (11/14) ... logged a season-high 29 minutes of action in consecutive games against Cincinnati Christian (11/22) and Charleston Southern (11/25) ... established a new career-high for most 3-point baskets in a season (14) ... sank 83.3% (10-of-12) of opportunities from the free-throw line.
