HIGH SCHOOL:  Keistler led John T. Hoggard High School to a Mid-Eastern Conference championship, two NCHSAA “Sweet 16” appearances and a pair of 20-win seasons ... as a senior, he converted 53 percent of field goals, while earning recognition as All-Area leader in assists and steals … consistent player who averaged 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists as a senior … served as team captain … named to Mid-Eastern First Team All-Conference and Cape Fear Sports Report All-City First Team … acknowledged as Honorable Mention All-Area … played under the direction of coach Brett Queen … member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Beta Club and National Honor Society.
