2009: Finished the season with a 10-13, 3-7 SoCon record... posted a 9-9 singles record in singles three... had conference wins over UNC Greensboro, College of Charleston and Chattanooga... in doubles with Dickey, he recorded a 9-5, 3-2 SoCon record... doubles wins also include UNC Greensboro, College of Charleston and Chattanooga... earned SoCon Tennis Player of the Week for his 3-1 record in singles and doubles for the week of March 9-15... he defeated James Madison, Case Reserve and Chattanooga.
Fall 2008: Beat Temple, 7-6, 7-5, and Navy, 6-4, 6-4, in UNC Fall Invitational... also posted a 6-4, 6-1, win against Phillip Kloc (Appalachian State) in College of Charleston Invitational.
2008: Finished with a record of 19-9 overall... completed SoCon competition play, 6-2... one of two players on the team who defeated #3 Wofford in the quarterfinals of the SoCon tournament... had wins over first-time opponents University of Chicago, Emory, Presbyterian, Queens University of Charlotte, Toledo and UNC Charlotte in singles and doubles.
Fall 2007: Finished the fall season with a 2-2 mark in singles competition... went 1-2 in doubles competition teaming up with Frederic Petrilli and Yufo Sutantio... Diaz picked up his first singles victory against Arkansas' Jorge Villanueva , 6-2; 7-6, at the UGA Southern Intercollegiate Championships... Diaz's second victory came against Virginia's Leif Sunderland, 3-6; 7-6(7); 6-4, at the ITA Regionals... Diaz's lone doubles win came at the UGA Southern Intercollegiate Championships with teammate Frederic Petrilli defeating Francis Marion's Keth and Rogers, 8-3.
2007: Finished the season with a 6-16, 2-5 SoCon, singles mark... went 3-20, 0-10 SoCon, in doubles competition... defeated Idaho State's Jeremy Atkin, South Dakota State's Jeff Hughes, Coastal Carolina's Plamen Tzvetkov and came from behind to defeat East Caroli¬na's Matt Peeler in three sets, (2-6, 6-4, 6-3)... Diaz also collected conference wins against Wofford's Scott Collins and UNC Greensboro's Ian Conchar... Diaz paired up with Martin King to collect doubles victories against Idaho State and South Dakota State... Diaz also served it up along side Derek Jose to defeat #45 Drake's Guilherme Marsiglia and Bokang Setshogo.
Fall 2006: Finished the fall season with a 6-4 singles mark ... went 1-6 in doubles with Derek Jose ... split a pair of singles matches at the Coastal Carolina Fall Invitational, getting his first collegiate win against Campbell's Alexandre Duval in straight sets (6-2, 4-0 withdrawn) ... lost his first match at the USC Fall Invitational but rallied to win the consolation singles bracket, clinching the consolation bracket title with a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) win over Georgia Tech's Austin Roebuck ... also recorded a win over Charlotte's Rickey Cuellar, 6-2, 7-5, at the USC Fall Invitational ... advanced past teammate Frederic Petrilli with a 7-5, 7-5 victory in that consolation bracket ... topped East Carolina's Brian Walters, 6-7, 7-6, 1-0 (10-6) in the Charleston Fall Challenge.
