HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in tennis for four years...trained year-round and competed extensively in USTA tournaments throughout Georgia and the Southeast...won the Georgia Peach State Singles Championship at age 14...competed in national-level events across clay, hard and indoor surfaces...played in the USTA National Clay Court Championships and the USTA National Championships in Kalamazoo in both the 16s and 18s divisions...also participated in football, baseball, basketball and martial arts before focusing on tennis full-time.
