HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Beaufort High School in Beaufort, S.C…team finished as Regional Champions and Lower State Finalists…posted an undefeated regular season as a senior…earned a Region Championship, Lower State Championship, and finished as State Runner-Up…compiled an 11–2 record as a junior…did not compete as a sophomore due to COVID…earned a Region Championship as a freshman…member of the Honor Roll all four years…elected to the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Full name is Joseph Heywood Combs…son of James and Dorothy Combs…grandfather played basketball at the College of Charleston and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1986…three family members graduated from The Citadel…plans to study Construction Engineering.
