JUNIOR (2012): Posted a personal-best heave of 48’1.95” at the indoor conference championship to move into ninth place all-time … finished in ninth place in the weight throw at the Captains Invitational with a throw of 41’11.25” … heaved the hammer 130’11” at the Raleigh Relays.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Placed second at the Captains Invitational in the 20lb. weight throw setting a mark of 40’7.75” and recorded a shot put mark of 34-feet for a fourth place finish … recorded a throw of 43’9.75” at the Gamecock Invitational … earned eighth place at the SoCon Indoor Championships with a mark of 46’.75 in the 20lb. weight throw … placed seventh place at the SoCon Outdoor Championships in women’s hammer with a throw of 135’09”.

FRESHMAN (2009): Placed ninth in the 20lb. weight throw with a mark of 33’11.5” at the Tiger Invitational … threw 89’11” to finish third at Charleston Southern in the discus … earned a personal-best record in the discus at the Tiger Open when she threw 95’5”… in the hammer, she recorded a mark of 105’9” for fourth place at Charleston Southern and also threw 103-feet for eighth place at the UNF Osprey Challenge … posted a mark of 80’1” in the javelin at the Furman Invitational … recorded her highest finish in the javelin at the Tiger Open when she threw 78’9” for third place … placed fourth with a throw of 33’9.5” in the shot put at the Furman Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Clarkrange High School in Clarkrange, Tenn. … earned four letters in track and field … finished eighth in the region freshman year, sixth in region sophomore year and finished third in the region and ninth in the state during her junior campaign.

PERSONAL: Daugther of Everett and Lonnita Polson … majoring in psychology.
