2010: Played in 19 games, started six games at second base... batted .345 (10-for-29) with four runs and four RBI... first collegiate hit came in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded vs. Appalachian State (3/27) and dumped an RBI single to left field to give the Bulldogs a 2-1 walk-off win.... made first collegiate start at Winthrop (4/7) and went 1-for-5....went 1-for-1 with an RBI and two walks vs. Indiana State (4/9)... pinch hit and hit his first career triple vs. No. 5 South Carolina (4/14) before coming around to score... best game came vs. College of Charleston (4/20) as he went 2-for-4 with two runs, a walk and an RBI... pinch hit and went 1-for-1 with an RBI vs. Davidson [2] (4/24).

High School: Graduated from Boiling Springs High School in Spartanburg in 2009... a member of the South Carolina 2008 AAAA state championship team... lettered all four years in baseball... coached by Jeff Lipscomb, Joel Goff and Terry Hughes.

Personal: Joshua Ray Pless... born Feb. 14, 1991 in Spartanburg, S.C... son of Joe and Raeanne Pless... most memorable moment in baseball was hitting a two-strike, two-out home run in the state playoff game his junior year of high school en route to a state championship...majoring in physical therapy.
