Biography

2010: Started in 64 games, 62 of which were in right field.... led team with 20 doubles and batted .315 to go with 52 runs, 79 hits and five homers... second on the team in RBI with 59.... went 22-for-27 in stolen bases....drew 28 walks, third most on the team.... racked up 21 multiple-hit games, 14 multiple-run games and was second on the team with 18 multiple-RBI games... had a season-high 11-game hit streak from 3/28 to 4/11... went 2-for-2 with a pair of runs, two walks, two stolen bases and an RBI in season-opening win over ETSU (2/19)... went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI vs. Marshall (2/27)... best game came vs. Radford (2/28) as he went 4-for-5 with two runs, four RBI and hit first career grand slam... followed the next game in Hawai'i (3/4) by going 3-for-5 with a double, run and four RBI... helped the Bulldogs sweep Western Carolina (3/14) by going 3-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, a stolen base and a homer... had a stellar day at the plate at Elon (3/20) going for 4-for-7 with two runs, two stolen bases, a double and three RBI in the Bulldogs' 20-15 win in 10 innings... went 2-for-4 with a run, a triple and two RBI vs. Winthrop (3/24)... followed up with a 2-for-5 performance in the series opener vs. Appalachian State (3/26) with two doubles, a run and two RBI... in the series finale vs. ASU (3/28), went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and a double to help the Bulldogs earn another sweep... went 2-for-4 with a run and three RBI at Wofford (4/3) in the middle game of the series and then went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in the finale (4/4)... followed that with two midweek games going 2-for-5 with a run and a double at Charleston Southern (4/6) and then went 2-for-6 with two RBI and a run in an 11-inning win at Winthrop (4/7)... went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs and a pair of RBI vs. Indiana State (4/10)... collected three runs after going 1-for-2 with a run and two walks vs. Furman (4/17) and then went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a stolen base in the finale to sweep the Paladins (4/18)... in series-opener vs. Davidson (4/23), went 3-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base... homered and went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs and two RBI at Samford (5/2)... helped the Bulldogs clinch the regular season title by going 2-for-3 with a run, two RBI, a double, a walk and a stolen base at Georgia Southern (5/21)... in the SoCon Tournament Championship game, went 2-for-5 with a pair of runs vs. Western Carolina (5/30) in a 10-3 win by the Bulldogs... in the final game of the season, went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI vs. No. 16 Virginia Tech (6/6) in the NCAA Tournament.

2009: Sidelined by a hamstring injury for the first part of the season... played in 30 games, started 26 in outfield... batted .302... seven multiple-hit games... four multiple-RBI games... best performance came against Furman (5/8) with a run scored, four hits, including a double and home run to go along with three RBI... tripled, scored a run and registered an RBI against Wofford (4/5)... registered three hits, including a double with an RBI and run scored against Davidson (5/21) in the SoCon Tournament... racked up three hits and a run against USC Upstate (5/6)... eight-game hitting streak from 5/2 to 5/12... stole two bases... did not commit an error on the season... played in 22 of the final 23 games following injury.

2008: Redshirted season after breaking his left hand as he was hit by a pitch in the series-opener against Furman (3/21)... was off to a strong start prior to the injury, starting all 16 games he played in and hit .281... went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the second game of a doubleheader against Delaware (2/23)... his two hits in the 1-0, 10-inning win over No. 23 Louisville were both doubles and scored the game-winning run as Matt Arnold drew a bases-loaded walk in the 10th... scored twice and drove in another run in a 1-for-4 outing during a 10-1 win over USC Upstate (3/4)... his only hit in that game was a home run, the first of his career... posted a 2-for-5 performance against Evansville (3/8) with a career-high three runs scored... recorded a career-best three hits in a 3-for-5 outing at Elon (3/16), scoring once and driving in another run... made a game-saving, diving catch in the ninth inning against Charleston Southern to preserve the 5-3 victory (3/18).

2007: Played in 38 games, starting in 19... recorded 11 consecutive starts from March 17 to April 4... had first career hit in his second start against UNC Asheville on Feb. 20... made first collegiate start on Feb. 11 against ETSU as designated hitter, going 0-for-3 with a sacrifice... hit his first career double in 8-3 win over Winthrop (3/20)... matched career-high three RBI vs. Davidson (4/12)... scored once against Western Carolina (5/23) in the Southern Conference Tournament.

High School: A graduate of Lake Mary High School... 2005 second team all-county... ended prep career with .385 batting average during senior year... recorded 35 hits including eight doubles and two triples... member of Florida Cougar squad that finished second in the state in 2005... played summer ball with the perennial powerhouse Central Florida Renegades, coached by Bob Pincus... named the Renegades' MVP for performance during the summer of 2006.
