JUNIOR (2016-17): Competed in the Will Wilson Citadel Invitational … placed 25th overall in the 5K with a time of 22:34.99.
SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Began season with a 35th place finish at the CofC Invitational with a time of 27:55.5 … posted her highest finish of the season (12th) at the Will Wilson Invitational and recorded a time of 22:58.20 … clocked fastest time of the season, 22:14.4, at the CofC Invitational … completed the season with 68th place finish at SoCon Championships (22:49.99).
FRESHMAN (2014-15): Began the Outdoor season at the Palmetto Classic Invitational where she finished eighth in the 5000 meters (21:29.18) … had a solid outing at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational by competing in the 4x800 relay (10:04.32, 10th) with Sarah Johnson, Marianna Garcia-Torres and Jackie Thompson as well as the mile (6:08.89) … saw action in only one event during Indoor campaign, Captains Invitational, participating in the distance medley relay (14:31.09, 3rd) and mile (6:21.20, 16th).
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in cross country and track and field … recorded her personal-best in the 5k of 20:52, in the 3200 of 13:13 and in the 1600 of 6:10
PERSONAL: Karen Song Grier ... daughter of Hyosuk and Ralph Grier ... majoring in exercise science.
