SENIOR (2013): Played in 105 sets and concluded the season by shattering the school record for most digs (429) in a single season by averaging a squad-best 4.09 per set … caps off her career by ranking seventh in digs (952) and third in digs per set (3.01) … finished the 2013 season ranked second on the team in service aces (20) … recorded double digit digs in each of her first four matches of the season and in the process established a career-long double figure dig streak (10) that carried over from the final six matches of the 2012 campaign, including a 22-dig outing at East Carolina … finished with a career-best six service aces against Morgan State at the East Carolina Tournament … reached the 20-dig plateau for the sixth time in her career against Charleston Southern (21 digs) … anchored the Bulldog defensive efforts in a four-set victory over Gardner-Webb with 23 digs … opened 2013 Southern Conference play with 18 and 20 digs against UNCG and Elon, respectively … had the first of five double figure dig performances with 16 at Western Carolina … notched her fifth 20-dig outing of the season against Chattanooga (20 digs) … closed out her career with consecutive double figure dig outings against Winthrop (13), Appalachian State (11) and Western Carolina (16).
JUNIOR (2012): Played in 108 of the team’s 122 total sets on the season … ranked in the top two of four categories including digs (first-334), digs per set (first-3.09), service aces (tied-second-15) and service aces per set (tied-first-0.14) … climbed to 12th on The Citadel’s career digs list with 523 … rattled off double-digit digs in nine straight matches following an 11-dig outing against Wofford … led the Bulldogs defensively with a match-high 22 digs in the five-set win over Charleston Southern … turned in a career-high 41 digs in a five-set match with Chattanooga, tying Rachel Sanders’ program-record set during 2008 campaign … led The Citadel with a match-high 21 digs at Western Carolina … capped off her nine-match double-digit dig streak with 17 digs apiece against Appalachian State and N.C. A&T … tallied the second-most single-match digs (29) of her career in five sets against Davidson … ended the 2012 regular season with 96 digs, most of any player, following an 18-dig performance at Furman and a pair of 13-dig outings against Savannah State and College of Charleston.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Handed out 71 assists over the course of 11 matches, primarily in a reserve role … continued to show her prowess as a Bulldog back row player, finishing with 22 digs … notched a season-high seven digs to go along with 10 assists against in-state foe Coastal Carolina … recorded 12 assists against SoCon rival Furman, a season-high.
FRESHMAN (2010): Saw action in 88 sets during her rookie season with the Bulldogs, splitting time with teammate Alexa Dahlstrom at the setter position … her 419 assists were a team-high during the course of the 2010 season … ranked fifth in digs with 167 as an integral back row defender … on six occasions had double-digit dig performances, including a personal-best 20 against USC Upstate (Sept. 11) … grabbed Southern Conference Freshman Player of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 13 during a four-match stretch that included victories over Savannah State, USC Upstate and Norfolk State. During that span, Bucherl doled out 74 assists in 112 total attempts, finishing with a set percentage of .661 on the week, while accounting for 36 digs in three victories.
