Biography

SENIOR (2014): Finished her senior season with 186 kills, 50 digs, 15 total blocks and 11 service aces marking the third time in her career that she had at least 150 kills … ended her career in 10th on the school’s all-time kills list with 677 and tied Rachel Sanders for most career sets played (448) … a solid defender throughout her four years with the Bulldogs, she closed her career ranked 13th in digs (616) … led The Citadel in kills on six occasions over the course of the season, the most behind Bailey Kernodle who accomplished the feat 14 times … one of four Bulldog defenders with double-digit digs (17) in the four-set win over Providence at Navy in the Kristen Dickmann Invitational … recorded a double-double, including a match-high 18 kills to go along with 10 digs, in a four-set victory over N.C. A&T at The Citadel Invitational as she posted a .389 attack percentage … tied her best hitting percentage of the season (.389) as she drove home eight kills in 18 attempts in a four-set victory over Savannah State in the ISTAP Collegiate Cup 2 … established a single-match career-high in kills (19) to go along with eight digs as she led the Dogs to a five-set victory over South Carolina State … enjoyed one of her best Southern Conference outings of the season at Mercer when she finished with 12 kills and nine digs in four sets … responsible for a match-high 13 kills in The Citadel’s three-set victory over Claflin as she finished with a .323 hitting percentage … active on defense for the Cadets against East Tennessee State as she posted 14 digs and one assisted block.

JUNIOR (2013): Solid performer for The Citadel as she finished the season ranked in the top five of six statistical categories including kills per set (1st-1.91), total attacks (2nd-556), kills (3rd-157), service aces (3rd-17), digs per set (3rd-1.77) and digs (5th-145) … leads all active players in career kills (491), which places her 13th on the school’s all-time kills list … averaging 1.87 kills per set and ranks 15th on the all-time list … ranked 12th in career total attacks (1,704) … team leader in kills in consecutive matches against Ball State (six) and Austin Peay State (eight) at the season opening South Florida Tournament … drove home eight kills and had the sixth double-digit dig performance of her career (10) against Morgan State at the East Carolina Tournament … pounded team-high nine kills (.368 attack percentage) and 12 digs in the Dogs’ four-set victory against Gardner-Webb … came through with eight kills in consecutive matches against UNC Wilmington and Bethune-Cookman at the Winthrop Invitational … set her single-season match high in kills (11) while adding nine digs against UNCG in the SoCon opener … capped off the first weekend of league play with eight kills and 16 digs against Elon … responsible for nine kills and eight digs in the Dogs’ final conference game at Georgia Southern … tallied nine kills and four digs at Western Carolina … notched eight kills and eight digs in a four-set meeting with Chattanooga to close out the month of October.
 
SOPHOMORE (2012): Posted a solid season in which she ranked in the top five of five statistical categories including kills (second-240), kills per set (second-2.12), total attacks (second-828), assisted blocks (fifth-25) and total blocks (fifth-27) … played in 113 of 122 total sets on the season … currently ranks 15th on the Dogs’ career kills list (334) and 15th in career kills per set (1.86) … eclipsed eight kills in 17 matches including a career-high 15 in a three-set match with Davidson in late October … opened the first three matches of the 2012 season with 23 kills, 17 digs and two blocks at the UNLV Tournament … notched her first career double-double (14 kills, 11 digs) while tying her single-match career-high in kills (3) against Radford to open September play … wrapped up the Radford Tournament by having 13 kills in a meeting with St. Francis (Pa.) marking the first back-to-back double-digit kill matches of her career … finished with a team-best 10 kills in a three-set match with Air Force at the All-Academy Tournament … posted 10 kills and a season-high 12 digs in the Dogs’ five-set victory over Charleston Southern … drove home 11 kills in a five-set match with SoCon foe Chattanooga … was responsible for a team-high 14 kills, two assisted blocks and a .323 attack percentage in a four-set match at Appalachian State … completed a five-set match against Davidson with a career-high 15 kills and seven digs … posted her eight double-digit kill match of the season at Wofford when she tallied a team-high 10 kills.
 
FRESHMAN (2011): Capped off her first season by finishing in second in four statistical categories amongst fellow freshmen, including digs (112), kills (94), sets played (67) and service aces (11) … finished with a match-high eight kills against SoCon rivals Wofford and Furman … integral in The Citadel’s sweep of N.C. A&T with a match-high three service aces … proved to be a vital defender for the Dogs with a pair of double-digit dig outings against Coastal Carolina (13) and Wofford (11) … capped off an October performance against Appalachian State with three assisted blocks, establishing her career-high.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Boylan Catholic High School in Rockford, Ill. ... four-year varsity starter in volleyball ... member of the German Club … twice named Algonquin Jacobs All-Tournament selection (2008, 2009) … earned All-Tournament team honors at Stillman Valley Invite (2009) … was named team Most Valuable Player as a junior … NIC-10 All-Conference selection (2009, 2010) … served as team captain during her senior season … four-time NIC-10 scholar athlete … team finished with a 52-19 record in NIC-10 conference play during her time … team crowned 2009 Regional Championship … 2010 NIC-10 Conference Champions … conference runner-up on two separate occasions … played under Amanda Carlson ... played for Fusion club team.
