GRADUATE SENIOR (2013): Ranked in the top three of seven statistical categories in her only season at The Citadel including kills (1st- 170), attack percentage (1st-.235), solo blocks (2nd-10), assisted blocks (2nd-60), total blocks (2nd-70), blocks per set (2nd-0.69) and kills per set (3rd-1.67) … had three double figure kill matches including a season-high 15 against Chattanooga where she committed just two errors in 23 total attacks (.565 attack percentage) … began her Citadel career with six kills (.364 attack percentage) and one assisted block against South Florida … emerged with six kills and five assisted blocks against East Carolina … notched her first double figure kill outing (12) to go along with four blocks (three assisted) and a .364 attack percentage in a five-set thriller with Morgan State … contributed eight kills and four assisted blocks in The Citadel’s sweep of South Carolina State … finished with eight kills and a .471 attack percentage as the Dogs completed a four-set win over Gardner-Webb … eclipsed the double-digit mark in kills (10) and posted a .556 attack percentage in the SoCon-opener with UNCG … tallied seven kills (.538 attack percentage) and three assisted blocks at in-state rival Furman … wrapped up her collegiate career with eight kills (.429 attack percentage) and one solo block against Western Carolina.

PRIOR TO THE CITADEL: Briggs, who earned her bachelor of science in biology from the University of Georgia in May … earned three letters while at McIntosh High School … during her junior her team won the class 4A state championship … as the senior captain she earned team Most Valuable Player, all-state and senior all-state honors … also played for Tsunami club team ... while at Georgia, Briggs was a Presidential Scholar, member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, recognized on the Dean’s List and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
