SENIOR (2014): Led The Citadel in total blocks (77) as she posted 54 assisted blocks and 23 solo blocks … tied with Dominique Williams for third-most kills (169) on the 2014 season … tied teammate Rachel Keefer for most service aces (18) … a solid defender, Hurt capped off her career ranking first in assisted blocks (241), first in total blocks (343) and second in solo blocks (102), joining Audra Ritchie as the only players in program history to top 100 solo blocks in school history … owns the second-best blocks per set (0.91) percentage in program history … completed her career with the 13th-most kills (550) in program history … accumulated eight kills, one solo block and one assisted block in the victory over Providence at Navy in the Kristen Dickmann Invitational … posted a season-best 13 kills in the four-set win over N.C. JUNIOR (2013): A solid two-way player for The Citadel, she capped off her 2013 campaign in the top five of seven categories including solo blocks (1st-39), assisted blocks (1st-74), total blocks (1st-113), blocks per set (1st-1.09), attack percentage (2nd-.191), kills (4th-155) and kills per set (4th-1.49) … her 39 solo blocks topped the previous single-season mark set by Marina Daniel (36) in 2003 … is the only player in program history to be ranked in the top five of assisted blocks (1st-87, 2012; 3rd-74, 2013) on two occasions … moved into top five of career solo blocks (4th-79), career assisted blocks (4th-187), career total blocks (3rd-266) and career blocks per set (t2nd-0.96) … notched five kills, four assisted blocks and two solo blocks in the season-opener against South Florida … finished with four assisted blocks and three kills (.250 attack percentage) against Loyola … drove home seven kills and a .389 attack percentage to go along with four total blocks (two assisted) against Morgan State .. pounded home seven kills (.250 attack percentage) and added five blocks (three solo) in the victory over South Carolina State … had a season-high 11 kills to go along with a .550 attack percentage and eight total blocks (five solo) at Winthrop … notched 10 kills (.368 attack percentage), three assisted blocks and two solo blocks against Elon … posted seven kills and two assisted blocks at UNCG … contributed eight total blocks (five assisted) and five kills against Chattanooga … tallied seven kills, one assisted block and a .357 attack percentage at Furman … totaled six kills (.417 attack percentage) and two assisted blocks against Appalachian State.
SOPHOMORE (2012): One of only two players on The Citadel roster to appear in all 122 sets, Jessica Maxwell being the other … ranked in the top five of eight statistical categories including kills (fourth-187), kills per set (fourth-1.53), total attacks (fourth-579), solo blocks (first-34), assisted blocks (first-87), total blocks (first-121) and blocks per set (first-0.99) … posted the second-most single-season solo blocks in program history, behind only Marina Daniel’s 36 in 2003 … established the school’s single-season record for most assisted blocks, topping the previous record held by Amber Davis (2002) … set The Citadel standard for most single-season total blocks, passing Marina Daniel’s 2003 record … enters her junior season ranked in the top ten of three Citadel career categories including solo blocks (eighth-40), assisted blocks (10th-113) and total blocks (ninth-153) … responsible for three solo blocks and seven assisted blocks during the two-day tournament at UNLV … had a breakout performance against Radford where she set a new match-high in kills (16) and then-match-high in assisted blocks (six) while posting a .583 attack percentage … made her presence felt with 12 kills, a match-high four assisted blocks and four solo blocks in The Citadel’s five-set win over Stetson … came through with 12 kills, four digs, three assisted blocks and one solo block in a September meeting with UNCG … opened October action with a solid outing against Wofford that included 11 kills, four digs, three assisted blocks, two solo blocks and a .429 attack percentage … paired nine kills with a match-high seven assisted blocks in a home match with Chattanooga … eclipsed double-digit kills against Davidson (14) where she capped off the match with a .393 attack percentage … capped off the 2012 season by putting together a streak of at least one assisted block in each of the final five matches.
FRESHMAN (2011): Appeared in the third-most sets, 50, of any freshman … uncorked 39 kills on the season, including a personal-best seven against Wofford … recorded a hitting percentage of .300 or better eight times during the 2011 season, including an .857 (6k-0e-7ta) against S.C. State … produced at least two total blocks on eight different occasions, including a season-high five in a four-set victory over Wofford.
