SENIOR (2020): Tied for second on the team with seven singles wins in a shortened season, all in the spring, and posted three doubles wins … Ended the season on a four-match winning streak at No. 5 singles, winning all four in straight sets, including defeating Samford’s Luka Andonov 6-2, 6-1 on March 8 … Won three singles matches in a row, all at No. 3, from Feb. 2 – 8 … Won back-to-back doubles matches with Phillip Quinn on Feb. 2 and ended the season with an 8-0 win with Will graham at No. 2 against UT Dallas on March 12.
JUNIOR (2019): Appeared in 32 singles matchups, mostly at No. 3 and No. 4, recording 10 wins, including seven at No. 3 … Played in 31 doubles matches … His 11 doubles wins ranked second on the team … Went 7-8 in No. 3 doubles matchups … Started the season off with back-to-back wins in singles action at the Florida Collegiate Classic … Won four singles matchups in a row from Feb. 1 – 3 … Along with doubles partner Phillip Quinn, also won four straight doubles matchups in the same span.
SOPHOMORE (2018): Played in 28 singles matches and 27 doubles matchups … Notched eight singles wins and 10 wins in doubles action … Won four of five matches in a two-day span of February 2 – 3, including three in straight sets … Recorded first singles victory of the season with a 7-6, 6-2 in over Benedict’s Julius Mutewa (2/2) … Won four doubles matches in a row with Trey Davis, including a pair of 8-1 wins over Benedict and Erskine at No. 3 doubles … Joined forces with Gavin Stewart to best Chattanooga’s Simon Bustamante and Niklas Gerdes (2/23) 6-2 on the road at No. 1 doubles … Recorded second win of the season in Southern Conference action alongside Stewart with a 6-4 win over ETSU’s Juan Lugo and Tasei Miyamoto (4/14).
FRESHMAN (2017): In his first season with the Bulldogs, tallied the most singles wins for the year with a 17-23 record, including going 9-10 at No. 3 singles and 4-4 at No. 4 … Earned his first collegiate singles win on Feb. 5 without dropping a point (6-0, 6-0) to Spartanburg Methodist’s Cody Brown in No. 3 singles action … That victory spurred a stretch of six straight victories … Went on to win nine of 10 matches from Feb. 5 through Feb. 27, dropping just one set in that time … Earned two victories without giving up a point in that stretch … Also won four in a row from March 14 through March 21, with three of those victories being in straight sets … In doubles action, won 11 matches with partner Connor Grady, mostly at No. 3 doubles … Had a stretch where he went 7-2 from Feb. 5 to Feb. 27 … Earned his first collegiate doubles win with Grady on Jan. 16, defeating N.C. States Chris Mikrovas and Sean Burnette 6-3 on the road … He and Grady won three matches in a row three times.
HIGH SCHOOL: Received Athletic Excellence Award two years … Received Coaches Award as a freshman … Spartanburg High School region champion and back-to-back state championships in 2014 and 2015.
