Russell Hubbs joined Citadel Strength & Conditioning as an intern strength coach after graduating from The Citadel in 2018.
While interning and finishing his master’s degree, he designed programs for Rifle, Golf, and assisted with Football. In 2021, He moved his way up the ranks as an assistant strength and conditioning coach designing programs for Volleyball, Track & Field, Tennis and assisted with Football. In 2022, he was moved up to his current position as Associate Director of Strength & Conditioning. He designs programs for Basketball, Volleyball, Track & Field and assists with Football. He is also in charge of operation of the new Refuel Station in the Dawg Pound.
Russell graduated from The Citadel with a bachelor’s degree in Exercises Science. He also earned his master’s degree in Health, Exercise and sports Science at The Citadel. Russell is a native of Rock Hill, SC. His parents are Jamie Raines and Eric Hubbs.
