REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2013-14): Was The Citadel's top competitor 133 and a 2013 SoCon finalist, finished with a 20-12 overall record … captured four of those wins at the Hokie Open where he placed fifth …  had a second four-match winning streak in early February … capped off the season by winning three of his final four contests at the SoCon Championships ... among the triumphs in the league championships were two against Robbie Golde (Gardner-Webb) and one over Chris Johnson (Appalachian State).
 
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2012-13): Started in 12 of the 13 dual bouts at 133 pounds ... closed out his Southern Conference dual season with a perfect 7-0 record ... finished with an overall record of 23-16, going 8-4 in duals ... placed second at the Southern Conference Championships ... earned fourth place at the Navy Classic with a record of 4-1, including a 3-1 sudden victory win over Navy's Quentin Leadbeter ... took sixth place in his first collegiate tournament, recording four wins at the Hokie Open ... earned fourth at the All-Academy Championships.
 
FRESHMAN (2011-12): Took a redshirt and did not compete.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in wrestling at Summerville High School… four-time state champion at 125 pounds… finished second at NHSCA… team won the 2007 state title… named the most outstanding wrestler at the 4A level and most outstanding wrestler in the state of South Carolina in 2011… compiled a career record of 154-11.
 
PERSONAL: Aaron John Hansen… son of John and Kelly Hansen… major is undecided.
