Casterlin joined The Citadel football program in Spring 2024 as an Offensive Assistant with a focus with the tight ends. He received a bump to Offensive Analyst with responsibilities in Player Personnel in Spring 2025.
Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Casterlin served as the recruiting & special teams coordinator at Erskine College for three seasons. Previously, he compiled a five-year stint at Point University as the team's associate head coach & offensive coordinator, working primarily with quarterbacks and offensive skill positions.
Casterlin also worked with the football programs at Shorter University (2015-16), Norwich University (2011-15), Savannah State (2009-11), Cheyney University (2007-09) and Fairleigh Dickinson (2003-05).
He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of South Carolina in 2001 and later earned his Master of Science in Leadership from Norwich University in 2013.
