Andrew Cromer was hired as The Citadel’s Assistant Director of Equipment Operations in July 2026 after spending the previous six years with Ole Miss football in a variety of equipment and operations roles.
During his time at Ole Miss, Cromer assisted with practice and game-day preparation, inventory management, team scheduling, travel logistics and the day-to-day operations of the football program. He was also part of seven postseason bowl appearances, including the 2021 Outback Bowl, 2022 Sugar Bowl, 2023 TaxAct Texas Bowl, 2024 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, 2025 Gator Bowl, 2026 College Football Playoff Sugar Bowl and 2026 College Football Playoff Fiesta Bowl.
A native of Rome, Ga., Cromer graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2024 with a degree in sport and recreation administration. He spent four years as a student equipment manager before being promoted to special assistant to the head coach and coordinator of operations following graduation.
