The Citadel Athletics

Erika was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She went to Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training in 2020. Erika received the Ron “Doc” Kanoy award in 2021 from Appalachian State Athletics for outstanding athletic training student. She then went to The Citadel where she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer and received a Masters of Science degree in Health Exercise and Sport Science in 2023. Erika is in her third year at The Citadel working with the women’s soccer team. She has experience working with the military population, football, baseball, Track & cross country, tennis, rifle, golf, and rugby teams while at The Citadel. 

Erika is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers Association. Erika joined the MUSC Health Sports Medicine Team in the summer of 2023. Erika enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outside, and watching sports.
