A key member of the 2024 Citadel defense, Ricciardi joined the Bulldogs' coaching staff in Spring 2025 as a Defensive Assistant (DL).
During his one-year stint playing for The Citadel in 2024, Ricciardi logged 33 total tackles -- good for seventh-best on the squad -- across 11 games of action at linebacker, finishing with 4.5 tackles-for-loss, a pair of sacks, an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Ricciardi competed for three seasons with SoCon adversary Western Carolina, registering playing time in 32-of-33 contests for the Catamounts. While with WCU, he notably earned Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll acclaim all three years as well as Fall Academic All-SoCon team accolades for both the 2022 and 2021 campaigns.
