Lucas Ferreira was hired by The Citadel Athletics as the Director of Video Productions on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Ferreira joined the Bulldogs following a four-year stint in the northeast as a multi-faceted broadcast freelancer across a variety of collegiate institutions and organizations, including Holy Cross (broadcaster & production), Massachusetts (production), UMass Lowell (production) and Providence (production). Primarily, he served as a director, producer or broadcast assistant for a wide-ranging selection of sporting events, spanning baseball games to press conferences and volleyball matches to basketball contests.
Ferreira graduated from Dean College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in December 2023. He currently resides in Charleston, S.C., and serves as the long-time host of his own podcast, the Rufus Rundown.
