Ryan Brewer joined The Citadel in August of 2025 as the Director of Service where he oversees the portfolio of contracted corporate partnerships for Bulldog Athletics.
Brewer arrives in Charleston following a two-and-a-half year stint with South Carolina Athletics where he was the Assistant Director of Event Operations. During his time with Gamecock athletics, Brewer worked closely with football, track & field, men’s soccer, and equestrian, having direct oversight in the functionality of home events. While at South Carolina, he also assisted at The Masters Golf Tournament and also worked as a summer employee with the Florence Flamingos and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Brewer graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2023 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sport and Entertainment Management. He will graduate in December of 2025 with his Master’s Degree in Sport and Entertainment Management.
Brewer and his fiancée, Kaleigh Lightsey, currently reside in Charleston with their dog Willa.
