The Citadel Athletics hired Seth Summers as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance in December 2022. He later earned a promotion to Associate Director of Sports Performance in October 2026.
Previously, Summers initially worked as the Strength & Conditioning graduate assistant for the Bulldogs during Fall 2022 before taking over assistant coach duties starting in Spring 2023. He also serves as a member of the Air Force Reserves.
Prior to joining The Citadel, Summers acted as the site coordinator in the Office of Expanded Learning for the Charleston County School District for six years from April 2016 through June 2022.
Summers graduated from South Carolina State University with a bachelor's in physical education / health education services in December 2015 before later securing a graduate degree in health & human performance from The Citadel in August 2024.
Summers currently resides in Johns Island, S.C.
