The Citadel Athletics

Tyler Johnson joined The Citadel Athletics Department in October of 2024, initially serving as Director of Corporate Partnership Sales before earning a promotion to General Manager in July 2026.

Previously, Johnson served for two years as a New Business Development Account Executive with Rock Gate Capital. He spearheaded lead generation initiatives that successfully created relationships with new clients for Rock Gate Capital. He was the top-ranked rep among 22 employees for new conversion rate in 2023.

He attended Onondaga Community College and Syracuse University after graduating from C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, N.Y. Johnson was a starter for the Onondaga Community College men’s soccer team.
