The Citadel-Campbell Results

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Aaron Walker, Kenneth Radford and Joe Bexley won by fall to lead The Citadel to a 45-3 win over Campbell on Saturday at McAlister Field House.

Terrell Forbes added a decision and the Camels forfeited four matches (125, 133, 141 and 197) to contribute to the Bulldog victory. The Citadel is 2-0 in dual matches this season while Campbell dropped to 0-3.
 

Walker opened the action at 157 and built an 11-0 lead over Ryan Hall before recording his fall with nine seconds left in the opening period. Radford held a dominating 16-4 lead over Monte Britton at 174 before earning the fall 49 seconds into the third period.

In between Forbes won 9-4 over Garrison Matthews at 165, and Bexley wrapped up the match by pinning Cody Ryba with 19 seconds remaining in the second period of the heavyweight bout. The Camels gained their lone points at 184 when Ville Heino picked up an 8-5 decision over Jack Duane.

The Bulldogs compete next at the Southern Scuffle on Jan. 1-2 and the Virginia Duals Jan. 9-10 before returning to McAlister Field House for a Jan. 14 match against Gardner-Webb beginning at 7 p.m.
