The Citadel SoCon Honor Roll

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel was represented by 181 cadet-student-athletes on the 2014-15 Southern Conference Honor Roll announced Monday.

Football produced the highest number of cadet-student-athletes with at least a 3.0 grade-point average, contributing 48, followed by men's track & field with 27, baseball with 24 and wrestling's 17.

The top women's sport on campus was women's track & field with 15 representatives, followed by soccer with 13 and volleyball with 10.

A total of 15 cadet-student-athletes carried a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout the academic calendar, including a team-high four from the men's track & field team. Among those were Dawson Bolus, Charles Braddock, Keith Cummings and James Cunningham.

The Citadel football team had three 4.0 GPA's including Charles Clark, Carson Smith and David Truesdale. Men's cross country (Charles Braddock, James Cunningham) and women's rifle (Jennifer Burch, Amber Mills) also had multiple team members with a perfect GPA.

Karina Schneider (soccer), Savannah Emmrich (women's track & field), Mallory Moore (volleyball) and Michael Nelems (wrestling) were the remaining 4.0 performers.
