CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel women's soccer team will close out the 2016 regular season this weekend with a non-conference trip to Hampton and then return home to host Mercer.

After tallying five shots this past weekend,
Emilie Valenciano now has 42 this season and ranks fourth in shots and shots per game in the Southern Conference.
Samara Nche continues to lead the Bulldogs with seven points after recording an assist on
Caroline Cashion's first career goal against UNCG on Oct. 14.

Goalkeeper
Logan Leask ranks among the top five in five different categories including shutouts per game, shutouts, saves per game, saves and save percentage. The freshman has logged 1180:27 minutes in goal while notching 78 saves this season. Â

Hampton comes into Friday's match with a 2-6-1 record and is averaging 9.3 shots per game compared to The Citadel's 10.4. Mercer boasts an 8-8-1 record and a 5-3 mark in conference action.

Friday's game at Hampton is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by the regular season finale on Sunday at 2 p.m. Sunday's game against the Bears will also serve as Senior Day for Cashion,
Brogan Felga,
Ilana Green and
