CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel cross country teams will compete at the Southern Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Michael Lantz leads the Bulldogs into the championships, having run the 15th fastest 8K time in the SoCon this season. The junior placed second at the Upstate Invitational in a time of 25:13.82, running the second fastest time in program history.
The men's team is led by a trio featuring Lantz, Ross Jordan and Jamie Cunningham, who have led the Bulldogs to three second place finishes in five meets.
On the women's side, Caillian Colquitt has led the team in every race this season, finishing with her best time of 19:14.73 at the Upstate Invitational. Grace Jenkins nearly broke 20 minutes at the same meet, finishing in 20:14.60 for her best time of the season.
