CHARLESTON, S.C.
– The Citadel golf squad wrapped up the three-day Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic in Kiawah Island, S.C., on Tuesday. The Bulldogs finished strong, carding their best 18-hole team score over the three days in the final round with a 326.

The Citadel placed 41st among a talented field and finished with a total team score of 1012 (339-347-326). Sophomore Cameron Little paced the Bulldogs with a team-low 244 three-round score. She carded a 77 on Tuesday, just one stroke away of matching her career-best round. Little has now recorded a round in the 70s six times in her career.

Senior Eraina Manor started off hot by carding a 76 through her first 18 holes of the tournament, which was the lowest round recorded by a Bulldog during the three days of competition. Manor eventually wrapped up the tournament with a three-round score of 246.

Junior Renata Sucha followed a pair of 87s through the first two rounds with an 83 on the final day to end her outing on a high note. Freshman Marina Grimal competed in her first career spring tournament and bounced back from a first round score of 94 by carding a third round 84.

The Bulldogs are back in action next week at the Benbow Collegiate in Jacksonville, Florida, which is hosted by Butler. For more information on The Citadel golf team, follow @CitadelOlympic and stay tuned to CitadelSports.com.
