FINAL INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel golf team wrapped up the Bulldog Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Patriots Point Links. The tournament, which was the first hosted by The Citadel since head coach Lori Bonacci took over the program eight years ago, welcomed ten teams.
 
Lamar captured the team title, carding an 11-over-par 594 over two rounds. Appalachian State followed in second with an 18-over-par 613. The rest of the field included Wofford, Drake, Radford, Western Illinois, Siena College, Navy, Bucknell and The Citadel.
 
Lamar's duo of Wenny Chang and Taylor Stockton finished first and second, respectively, to top the tournament. Chang posted a 1-under-par 143 through 36 holes to secure medalist honors.
 
The Citadel senior Eraina Manor recorded her ninth career top-ten finish and second of the 2015-16 campaign as she tied for eighth overall at the Bulldog Invitational. Manor carded a 5-over-par 77 in round two to couple with a 76 in round one and finished with a 9-over-par 153 for the tournament. The senior has shot a round in the 70s nine times in 2015-16 already.
 
Freshman Marina Grimal tied for 27th overall with a 16-over-par 160, carding a 78 on day one and an 82 on day two. It was the highest finish of her career in a tournament that had at least 50 competitors. Her first-round score of 78 was the second-best 18-hole mark of her career.
 
Additionally, junior Renata Sucha bounced back from a tough day one, posting a 10-over-par 82 in Tuesday's second round. Sucha has now carded a round with 82 strokes or fewer four times this season.
 
Following the Bulldog Invitational, The Citadel golf team has a quick turnaround as it travels to Hilton Head, South Carolina, to compete in the 2016 Lowcountry Intercollegiate hosted by Wofford.
