SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel Bulldogs moved up one spot in the final round to finish 10
th on Tuesday at the rain-shortened Terrier Intercollegiate hosted by Wofford. The Bulldogs closed with a team-337 to pass Converse and shoot six shots lower than their Monday score at The Country Club of Spartanburg.
On the team side, High Point (+16) won the event, finishing eight shots ahead of Georgia Southern (+24). Presbyterian College (+29) was third. High Point's
Cayla Smith finished at 2-under to win the event by two shots.
Bulldogs senior
Cameron Little carded an 80 (+8) in the final round to finish 35
th overall. Her final round was one shot better than Monday's round. Little made birdie on two of her first three holes and was 2-under through six holes at one point.
Ashlee Richardson tied for 48
th and had two birdies in her final four holes during a round of 84.
Marina Grimal climbed four spots to 50
th on the strength of an 80, shaving 10 shots off her opening-round effort. She was 1-over through nine holes and had two birdies on the day.
Nadia Sandler closed with a 90 and
Hayley Dettenmayer shaved eight shots off her opening round score.
The tournament concludes the Bulldogs' fall schedule.
