Box Score CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Citadel tennis team defeated Lee 6-3 in Cleveland, Tennessee, on Friday night.
The Bulldogs (5-9) won two of the three doubles competitions, starting with an 8-6 victory by sophomore
Michael Anzalone and freshman Willem von Zyl over Jake Okines and Boyd Blackburn at the number 2 position. Freshman

Connor Grady also won the number 3 doubles with a score of 8-6 over Daniel Prata and Westley Lemke.
In the singles competition, the Bulldogs took the first four matches. Anzalone won 6-3, 6-4 at the number one position and sophomore
Matthew Henson won 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 2 spot. Nawabi earned a 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 victory at the number 3 position and von Zyl brought home the final win for the Bulldogs with a score of 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4.
The Bulldogs will continue their road tour when they face Point and Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, and Oglethorpe and Emmanuel on Sunday.
