CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel kicks off the 2017 football season on Saturday and the home opener with Newberry will include a number of new features in and around Johnson Hagood Stadium.
The most notable addition will be the Bulldog Beer Garden on the east side of JHS presented by Southern Eagle. The Beer Garden will be located next to the Altman Center on the southeast side of the stadium. Concessions including food and beverages will be located in this area presented by Sticky Fingers. The adjacent location will also have a kid's fun zone with inflatables for children of appropriate ages. The Bulldog Beer Garden will be tented, accommodate up to 500 patrons, and will have TVs playing football games of interest.
Rules for Bulldog Beer Garden
- Beer Garden is part of JHS and requires game ticket to access
- 21 & Up Only
- Must have ID for entrance to area and receive wristband (must be worn)
- Wristbands will include three drink tickets
- Three 12-oz. beer maximum per person
- Cadets will not be permitted into the area
- Service will end of the 3rd quarter
Ticket Information
The Citadel's Athletic Ticket Office is located in McAlister Field House on the back, right-hand corner of the campus. Tickets for all athletic events are available there. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover orders can be made in person or by calling the Ticket Office at (843) 953-DOGS. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets to all home games may also be purchased online at
www.etix.com.
The Johnson Hagood Stadium ticket booths open 3 hours prior to kick off on game days. On gameday, tickets may be purchased with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.
