CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Citadel football released the program's 2026 home schedule kickoff times Thursday morning, slating the crosstown rivalry clash against Charleston Southern (9/12) for 6 p.m. before locking in Southern Conference adversaries Chattanooga (9/26), ETSU (10/10), Tennessee Tech (10/24) and Furman (11/7) all at 2 p.m. at Johnson Hagood Stadium.

All five home contests are set for broadcast via ESPN+.

"This 2026 home schedule will test us right away, and that's exactly how we want it," head coach Maurice Drayton said. "Opening under the lights against Charleston Southern -- our first game at Johnson Hagood Stadium -- will bring a different kind of energy, and we expect our fans to show up. Half the state of Tennessee stops by as well, that's a chance to prove who we are and compete at the top of the FCS level. And then Furman comes down for to visit us in the Lowcountry, that's rivalry football at its best. Top to bottom, it's a tough, no-excuses schedule. That's the standard here, and we're ready for it."
