GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Citadel volleyball team concluded their season after falling to top-ranked East Tennessee State.

Match Against ETSU (The Citadel 0, ETSU 3)

• The Bulldogs were neck and neck with the Bucs entering the first timeout, tied at 19 apiece. ETSU would go on a 5-0 run and close out the set. Leah Clayton and AJ Lux of the Bucs, tallied a set-high six kills to begin the match while Mellanie King racked up five.
• ETSU would take the second set soundly, 25-12. In the third, The Citadel got off to an early 7-2 lead forcing a Buccaneer timeout. ETSU would come back to tie the game at 10 after a pair of Bulldog attack errors. The Bucs would go on to take the final set and take the game.
• Mellanie KIng led the Bulldogs with eight kills and nine digs while De Jesus tallied seven and eight, respectively. Sarah Dobrich led the team in blocks with three on the day.
