Quotables
Head coach Ciaran Traquair – "This is a good win for us. We came here with the mindset that we could win this game and we talked to the team about having the mindset that we were going to leave here with a victory. Obviously, it went a little bit differently than we had planned for it to go, but we understand that they have a pair of talented forwards who we highlighted on our scouting report. We made a couple of individual errors that had us tied up at 2-2 at halftime, and that was concerning for us because if we didn't raise the standard there in the second half, then that very easily could have gone against us. But we talked to the team about their leadership at halftime and challenged them to raise the standard in the second half. I think we came out in the second half with a much better tempo and after we went up by two, we never looked back."

Redshirt junior forward Katherine Arroyo "The first half, I felt like we had moments where we were playing very well together, but then we started making some mistakes late in the half. In the second half, we came out and played a lot more like we are capable of. We played as a team and that is what really helped us win."

Next Up
The Bulldogs will next open the home slate on Sunday, Aug. 19 with a 1 p.m. game against North Florida. The game between the Bulldogs and the Ospreys will be carried on ESPN+.
