FIRST-TIME GOAL SCORERS
Junior Jenna Adcock scored her first collegiate goal in the second half of the Bulldogs' game at UNCG on Sept. 27. With Adcock's goal, eight Bulldogs have recorded their first-ever collegiate goals, setting the program record. The previous record was six set by the 2002 team and matched by the 2010 and 2018 squads.

BEATING THE RIVAL
The 2-0 win over the Keydets was the second straight for the Bulldogs following the 2018, 4-3 win in Charleston. It is the first time since the 2003 and 2004 seasons that The Citadel has beaten VMI in back-to-back years. The win over VMI is the first road win over the Keydets for the Bulldogs since a 3-0 win in the 2014 SoCon Tournament. The 2-0 win is just the second shutout victory for The Citadel in the head-to-head series.

RECORDING THE SHUTOUT
The shutout victory over VMI was the fourth shutout of the season for the Bulldogs. The four shutouts are the most since the 2016 team registered five shutouts. The 2009 team also posted five shutouts to set the record.

SUZUKA WITH THE GOAL
With her second goal of the season, Yosue now has nine points (two goals, five assists). She is tied for 15th in program history for points by a freshman.

SUZU WITH THE ASSIST
Yosue recorded her fifth assist of the season in the game at UNCG. She is now tied for second in program history for assists by a freshman and is just two away from the program record set by Lea Raedle during the 2013 campaign. Yosue is tied with Mel Mikoy's 2018 season and Vanessa Aponte's 2010 season.

MADDIE MAKING THE SAVE
Sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Somogyi now boasts 40 saves and three wins on the year. Her 40 saves are eighth in program history for saves by a sophomore keeper and her three wins have her fourth in program history for wins by a sophomore.

ROTH SETTING UP THE SCORE
With her second assist of the season, Roth now boasts eight for her career, moving her into sole possession of sixth in program history. Roth now boasts 22 career points, tied for 15th in program history.

DIXIE MOVING UP THE LISTS
Junior Logan Dix scored her fourth goal of the season on Sept. 27 against UNCG. She is now tied for seventh in program history for goals scored by a junior. She is tied with Kelly Pesterfield's 2003 campaign and her next goal will move her up into a tie for fifth.

THE HISTORY WITH MERCER
Mercer holds a 6-0 record over The Citadel dating back to the first meeting in 2014.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
Mercer comes into the week with a 9-2 record, including a streak of eight straight wins from Aug. 30 - Sept. 27. The Bears saw their eight-game win streak come to an end in a 2-0 loss at UNCG on Sept. 29, marking just the second time this season the Bears have been shut out, including a 3-0 loss at No. 10 Tennessee on Aug. 25. Mercer has out-scored its opponents 23-11, including five shutouts. Mercer is led by six players who have scored multiple goals, including Nicole Icen with seven and Amaya Evans with four.
