- A groundout and a walk scored the first two runs, before Wondrack's second RBI single of the day plated another run. A pair of throwing errors would allow two more runs to score in the inning.
- The Cougars strung together six-straight hits in the fifth to push across three more runs. Logan McRae drove in two runs with a base hit and Chaz Davey followed with RBI single of his own.
- The 'Dogs got on the board in the seventh inning as Lane Botkin and Wes Lane drew back-to-back two-out walks.
- Tilo Skole followed with a RBI single to center field.
- The Cougars answered back in the bottom of the inning to plate two runs on an Ari Sechopoulos sacrifice fly and RBI single from Clay Hunt.
