BLUFFTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NAIA Southern States Showdown Saturday afternoon.

Men's Distance: 8,000 meters (8K)
Women's Distance: 5,000 meters (5K)
 
Men's Race

• The Bulldogs only sent four runners to the meet.
• Robert Perrecone paced the men's team with a time of 27:52.49.
• Alex Wulforst was the second Bulldog finisher with a time of 28:29.56.
• Devon Heisler finished with a time of 29:03.99 and Bryce Baglia a time of 29:09.30.

 
Women's Race

• The Bulldog women finished fifth at the meet.
• Heidi Fortin finished fourth with a time of 19:05.62.
• Grace Wolfe was the second Bulldog to cross the line in a time of 20:54.05.
• Gabby Shea placed 22^nd with a time of 21:40.31
