RESULTS

NEWBERRY, S.C. – The Citadel women's cross country finished third, while the men's team finished fourth, at the Newberry Invitational Friday afternoon.

The women finished third behind ETSU and Anderson, and one spot ahead of Wofford. The men finished fourth behind ETSU, Anderson and Wofford.

Women's Race

Heidi Fortin continued to lead the women's team as she placed eighth with a time of 19:45.86. She was fourth among racers from the Southern Conference.
Amber Opp was the second finisher for the Bulldogs, finishing 17^th with a time of 20:54.51. The time was her season best.
Casey Miller finished in 18^th place with a time of 21:10.64.
Grace Wolfe and Gabby Shea closed out the counters for the Bulldogs, finishing in 21^st and 22^nd, respectively.
